to look forward to | The arrival of my journaling Bible!

It’s been a long journey, but my journaling Bible is expected to arrive sometime this week. My mom ordered the Bible pictured below for my birthday (Nov. 7). It was backordered and arrived to my university right after graduation. The post office at my school forwarded it to the wrong address. A month later, it still has not arrived. The manufacturer tracked the order and told me it was in New Jersey last week. They arranged for another to be sent to my house, but afterwards, my mom received notification that it was backordered to Sep. 28, 2015! I had given up all hope, but the next day, another email was sent saying it was shipped on Friday. If it arrives, believe me, you will know. You will probably hear my screams of happiness before a blog post even appears.

to listen to | Passion Pit’s Gossamer album, particularly “Carried Away” (listen below)

I swear, I love everything Passion Pit does. I listened to their Manners album repeatedly during my first finals week. In fact, I love them almost as much as I love Vampire Weekend, which is really saying something. I was just going to give you the audio video of “Carried Away,” but then, I saw the music video. You’re welcome.

to eat | The answer to prayers I didn’t even know I prayed. Ginger snap flavoured granola.

I’m not sure how people drink this, but it’s the next step for me:

To watchBig Hero 6 and Into the Woods

Big Hero 6 was much better than I expected, and Into the Woods was my favorite movie of 2014. The music and storyline is so clever and entertaining. It is cast so well and the costumes and set are amazing. I LOVED it. You must see it if you haven’t already!

To celebrate- Finishing college and graduating!

On Saturday December 20th, I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in English!! It was a really fun weekend of celebrating with my family and friends. We all went out for lunch together after the ceremony, and it was a wonderful way to spend my last day with them. I will miss them SO MUCH because after you live down the hall from people, have most of your classes with them, and share meals, they basically become your family. Thankfully, my parents’ graduation present to me was an iPhone 6!!!! I am stoked because I have never had a legit phone before. I have always texted on a free texting app on an old iTouch, and I can only make calls from my GoPhone (which is charged by the minute and for every time it’s turned on). I was so worried about how I would be able to call and text my family and friends after I move, and now, I have unlimited call minutes and texting and access to emails, Facebook, and more from anywhere I am!

To watch- The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

On Tuesday night, a few friends and I went to see the last Hobbit movie. It was fantastic!! I wish there would be many more. I especially liked the part at the beginning with Smaug and the part with Galadriel and any part with Kili (he’s so handsome).

To change- My hair! It’s red(ish) now.
